BD or MDI

February 26, 2016

It is easier for me to write in Ingles. Lets look closely to the little jewel below from 5 years ago:

“The butchered pieces of the giant hippo noisily crackled in the pit as the melting fat fueled roaring aromatic flames, a promise of life. A million years later, descendants of this group gathered around hundreds of pea-sized snail shells under the African noon sun tessellating the entrance of the rock shelter. A week later, elegant snail shell necklaces adorned women and men of the Blombos Cave Society. Are these possible scenarios of the dawn of ‘modern” human behaviour? What is the history of the human journey  from building fires to art? Recently found fossil and artifacts coupled with the power of archaeogenetics may facilitate the reconstruction of the path to symbolic behaviour, the quintessential trademark of our species.  The manufacture of necklaces found at South Africa’s Blombos Cave, made from small freshwater mollusks collected 70,000 years before present, BP, are a testimony of, clearly, a “modern human behaviour”. In the ‘European” Upper Paleolithic examples of complex symbolic behaviour are evidenced by innumerable archaeological findings, often wrongly interpreted as the emergence of symbolic behaviour. Footprints of purposeful human endeavour connected to symbolic behaviour appeared much earlier than the Upper Paleolithic, however.  Precise hand kinesis and exquisite manual motor control were early traits in human anatomy that supported new human behaviours. Music and dancing can be dated 500,000 years BP and carefully balanced spruce javelins dated around 400,000 years BP were discovered in Schöningen.  A recent re-evaluation of the archaeologically famous Berekhat Ram ‘figurine’ shows that it was made or modified by a hominid ca. 300,000 years BP.  All these findings convincingly demonstrate that symbolic behavior preceded by millennia, the European Upper Paleolithic. The journey from fire to necklaces started 790,000 years BP. Evidence for fire domestication has been found at the Gesher Benot Ya’aqov site in Israel and it demonstrates advanced motor-brain coordination consistent with complex intentional behaviour”.

Last afternoon ever..or will it be-

May 16, 2015

Oh my my…would like to announce my demise…will i enact it_? First a note about suicide…despite the madness aura that stems from the suicide act; there is an incongruence, vital to the cause of it, between the rationality and coldness of the act (when without barbiturates to use an old parlance) and the very suicide.
